Callaway XR 16 Sub Zero Driver

The XR 16 Sub Zero Driver is built to deliver extreme low spin for better players, and it’s already proven on Tour by players like Phil Mickelson. It has our lowest CG ever in a Callaway Driver from a Carbon Triax Crown, and that helps high swing speed players reduce spin so they can drive the ball even farther.

Taylormade M1

M stands for Multi-Material and it’s the key that unlocks performance in M1.  This construction is highlighted by our proprietary 7-layer Carbon Composite Crown that is precision-formed and built ultra-thin, ultra-lite and high strength to maximize weight savings.  This addition has allowed us to build a weight-loaded sole and move overall clubhead weight (and, thus, the center-of-gravity) lower for a more efficient power transfer; giving golfers more ball speed.

The Carbon Composite Crown as also allowed us to give golfers 25 grams of multi-directional adjustability, allowing them to personalize launch conditions – fit to their swing - and optimize ball-flight, trajectory and, ultimately, distance.

We have M1 Driver, Fairway Wood and Hybrid heads available for custom fitting.

SST PURE COMES TO SGGT

Here at SGGT we could not be more pleased to have our SST Pure machine up and running in the workshop. We have become one of only three club building facilities in the UK to have access to this machine and are proud to say we have the only one in Scotland!

Golf shafts aren’t perfectly straight or perfectly round. Studies have shown that irregularities in a shaft’s structure cause off-line bending and twisting during the golf swing. This causes an increase in shot dispersion or, in irons,  inconsistent performance from club to club.

The SST PURE® Shaft Alignment System analyzes the structure of any golf shaft and identifies its most stable bending plane, or Neutral-Axis™. When assembled in the clubhead in this SST PUREd® orientation, the result is improved consistency from club to club within your set and set to set within your brand.

We use the puring process when building clubs from scratch but we can also use the machine to pure any existing clubs. This process involves stripping clubs down to their raw materials, putting the shafts through the puring machine and then re-building them!

PXG 0311T Irons

Forged from the same materials as PXG 0311 irons, PXG 0311T irons have a slightly thinner top line and are more compact. They also have a narrower sole width and less offset. As a result, PXG 0311T irons launch lower and have slightly less spin creating a more penetrating ball flight.

THE FIRST TIME I SWUNG THE CLUBS IT WAS CLEAR THAT THEY ARE ENGINEERED TO PERFORM - James Hahn, 2016 PGA Tour Winner.

PXG 0311 Irons

PXG 0311 irons are the world’s sexiest, most forgiving golf clubs that launch higher, go farther, feel softer and have a sweet spot the size of Texas. The irons are made with the finest alloys and are manufactured using a costly, sophisticated process that only we would use.

High-density tungsten alloy weights — which create the irons' signature look — are positioned around the edges to provide extreme perimeter weighting and maximum forgiveness.

By removing a significant amount of mass from the center of the club head through CNC milling and strategically repositioning it around the perimeter of the clubhead with tungsten weights, launch conditions have been fine-tuned to produce the longest, most effective ball flight for each loft.

PXG 0311 Wedges

PXG 0311 wedges offer the versatility to play all the short shots needed to produce consistently low scores. The grooves have been designed to yield the maximum amount of spin on shorter shots near the green while optimizing spin on longer shots from the fairway. High-density tungsten alloy weights — which create the wedge's signature look — are positioned around the perimeter for unmatched feel and superior wedge play.
